A Path to self motivation and creativity Hi! I am looking for friendships with others who seek to make positive changes in their lives. My goal is to connect with other people who would like to learn how to let go of fears, stress etc. that may keep them from feeling at peace with themselves and the surrounding world and to tap into their creative side. While my education and employment background has revolved around anthropology and archaeology, going through periods of instability at work and the stress of the job itself have led me on a journey to find out more about me and what it is I would really like to be doing. I have realized that I have a very creative side that I have never really explored before; I've always pushed it aside - it is intimidating though to think about tapping into it sometimes. I even feel guilty like I should be working harder to find a more stable job in my field (although there is really nothing right now!) But then I think, why not make a business for myself producing mosaics and being a photographer - a couple of dreams I've been toying with for awhile but hadn't worked up the courage to try... I have friends and family who think I'm great at both - but at the same time, I think society overall usually steers people away from believing crafty or creative jobs like that are not "real jobs" and that discourages me! Here I am! Looking for all those positive folks out there who have already been on this journey or are currently on this journey to find their creative side, embrace it, welcome it, love it and find a happier healthier person in the process!
