The Last Romantic I am an attorney with wide-ranging interests. I try to cultivate a healthy balance between intellectual and physical pursuits. I feel as comfortable reading poetry aloud to strangers as I do playing football. My musical tastes run from garage rock n roll to classical with a fondness for Maria Callas and, above all, Eva Cassidy. In art, I am partial to American Realism, though I also enjoy other forms. I believe in Rick and Ilsa, Sam and Diane,Professor Harold Hill and Marion the Librarian. If soulmates exist, they must, I assume, treasure those qualities we most value in ourselves. My philosophy of life can be summed up by this piece of ancient Sanskrit wisdom:"There are three things which are real: God, human folly and laughter. The first two are beyond our comprehension, So we must do what we can with the third." I am looking for a woman who has arrived at some of the same truths I hold dear.Ideally, she would know many things I do not, would laugh with me at whatever instances of human folly that should cross
our path, and would have a tolerance for far too many, albeit well organized, books. I love my life of kids and books and art and music. If you appreciate some of these same things, and you have no serious felony convictions, I would love to hear from you. Actually, I'm probably being unreasonably snotty about the whole felony conviction thing; if you read some good books while you were in prison,and your conviction wasn't for killing your husband, by all means send me an e-mail.
