I am active in 12-step recovery and started my continuous recovery May 22, 1989. Though I 'qualify' for a number of fellowships, my problem is the addict within me. I doesn't matter what or how much I took or did or who my 'connections' were, I am still an addict, with an obsessive/compulsive personality. I used to collect musical instruments obsessibely/compulsively in my early recovery, I have exhibited other signs of addiction though I stopped using alcohol and drugs (well, alcohol IS a drug, but some folks still make a distinction) for over 2 decades and counting... I am a passionate man, passionate about music, relationships, animals and sustainable living/agriculture/energy use, etc. I am passionate about halping those who wish help in their spiritual path, in their recovery path, their educational path, I am passionate in many ways about many things. As a result, I am in many different groups and sites within the passions network here. I am divorced, looking for a long-term relationship with a woman with similar tastes in music, outlooks on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I could go on but that's food for thought... though I can talk and write a lot, I am also a good listener, intuitive and for some I am a healer. Others might find me obnoxious, to others I am a mentor. Are you my spirit sister, my life partner?
