The worst prison is a closed heart. Hello and thank you for reading my profile. My name is David and I'm originally from Glasgow, Scotland. I just recently moved to Derbyshire after living in Florida for a few years. This has resulted in quite the confused accent! Personality wise, I am a down to earth person with a dry/dark sense of humour. This is because both of my parents were nurses. It certainly made breakfast more entertaining when they would discuss what happened that night. It has also given me a very strong stomach which is always useful! I am a loyal, caring person, who always seeks to enjoy a simple life. I also appreciate that people have differing viewpoints and beliefs. I enjoy understanding more than one perspective which is why I love to travel. I have been to most of Europe, America, and Africa. I am hoping to travel to the Far East one day. One of my favourite things to do is dining out, or going out for a coffee. It's a relaxation thing for me. I love food from many different cultures and I am not scared to try new things. I also like the odd occasional break from doing the dishes which also plays a part in this! I also enjoy retail therapy, online or at the stores. I must confess, I do enjoy spoiling that someone special. Some people are scared of their partner hitting the shops, but in my opinion it is an opportunity to make myself, or someone else happy and looking good which is why shopping is important to me. I do enjoy the odd occasional movie. My favourite genres are comedy, action and thriller movies. I loved Blazing Saddles, Get him to the greek, Office Space, and Superbad. I like to play video games when I get the chance. What better after work therapy is there! Pretending the pixels on the screen is the boss is common place amongst many a person! Sometimes I also get the notion to simply lie down in bed or on the couch and listen to music. I like a bit of everything depends on the mood really.
