Talk nerdy to me. Hi, and thanks for taking a look. I'll mention just a few things about myself here to hopefully give an idea of who I am, and if I might be someone you would like to know more.

I have a Master's degree in History, which I decided to do more for the experience than the notion of working in that field. I love the job I am in right now, and don't see myself shifting career paths anytime soon, despite the fact it isn't in history. Nevertheless, history remains one of my favorite topics and the nerd in me will surface to go to museums, watch a good documentary, etc. I also love the outdoors, and frequently look for ways to move whatever I am doing to some park or a place where I can be outside. I go hiking often, and am centered by the quiet solitude away from everything else. I do yoga as often as I can, and I also do general exercise like jogging or doing the treadmill for a while.

I love to read!! I like just about anything as long as it keeps me engaged and there's intelligence behind it, and skill in the writing.

I need to mention that I have a 5-yr-old son who is the best thing that has ever been given to me. I have a good relationship with his father and we co-parent well, and I have time both with him and away from him, but it needs to be mentioned that sometimes my schedule might not be as accommodating as others, but usually things are just fine.

Last, a few things that make me who I am: I LOVE music. I can't go a day without throwing on my iPod somewhere. I have about as wide a taste in music as a person can get I believe... and I'm always open to new/unique music. Last concert I went to was CSS/Sleigh Bells at First Ave. Continuing on with things that make me who I am: I'm smart, I'm funny (I have heard anyway), quick-witted, outgoing, strong-willed, independent, genuine and curvy. I won't ever be a skinny kind of girl, and while I am very healthy, I'm definitely a curvy woman. I love to travel, too!
