I've lived in KC my whole life and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I agree with a wise woman who once told me that although KC is not the best vacation destination, it is certainly a tremendous place to raise a family.
I'm now a single empty nester and I've recently found myself with more free time. I've been thinking about how many things I would like to do locally including visiting the K.C. Zoo, Symphony and Art Museums. I also want to visit haunted attractions and go to more haunted houses in the Fall.
In addition to the spooky stuff I'm always excited to visit Kaufmann Stadium to chill out for a Royals game on a hot summer night. At 43 years old I'm noticing myself to be way more open to trying new things. I'm a little surprised that my sense of adventure is increasing as I age but I love it!
I really enjoy all sports, however i'm no die hard sports fan by any means. My family uses the Chiefs games as an opportunity to spend time together and we all have fun win or lose. I do love watching soccer and I would have to say that it is my favorite sport.
I was raised in a Liberal household and you can tell. I'm a huge advocate for immigrant's rights and I believe ALL people should be treated with dignity and respect.
My ultimate goal is to find "THE ONE", but I also understand that no relationship comes easy. I've learned a lot from life including the fact that there is no such thing as a simple, effortless and perfect relationship between any two people.
Both parties must put in tremendous amounts of work to stay attentive to one another's needs while at the same time caring for one's own. Even dumb people are complex and unique in their own way. I know because I'm one of them!!!
