Running 48 I am a widow with grown kids living in and caring for my rural home. My husband and I were a team in all ways. We trucked together and when he died, I swore I would never truck again. BUT I missed it, I missed the money, and here I am, going through the process like a r0ookie all over again. I miss being on the road with someone who is a friend, most of all, a partner. I read constantly, write some, and get really irritated with the truck stop radio garbage. I've lived a full life, and don't see myself as a puritan, by a long shot, but the absolute lack of control I have heard on the radio is sad to me, I should be on my own in another 2 weeks. Would enjoy making new friends with similar views and interests.
