Dreams are free I'm looking for someone who can enjoy my company as much as I enjoy theirs. Someone who "gets" my humor, and can laugh at himself as well. Someone who will trust me as I will, no doubt, trust him.
I'm the type of person who'll smile and wave at my neighbors in passing. I go out to sing at the local karaoke bar maybe once a month. A couple of weeks ago I had a complete stranger tell me I have a “cheerful heart.” That made me happy. When it rains I have this strangely urgent need to rescue any worm I find squirming on the pavement. By rescue I mean throw that sucker back into the grass. I've lived and traveled abroad and, as a result, have a greater respect and love for our country. I don’t have a favorite flower because I appreciate them all. Except for the ones that make me sneeze violently. I was once held up at gunpoint. I’ve made it a habit to watch where I’m walking in case I come across any pennies or loose change. I once found a $100 bill because of this habit. I used to give money to those people you see on the side of the road with a sign asking for money. But lately all I see are signs asking for beer money and I stopped giving money away. Hey, if I’m giving you my hard-earned money then the least you could do is let me pretend I’m feeding you. With cash. You know that moment right before it rains when the scent of rain floods the air around you? Yeah, that’s one of my favorite things.
