I'm a college student and a waitress in the lonely state of Rhode Island.

I live and breathe biology, photography and philosophy. I love to find beauty where many may not be able to: this is my definition of "art", and it can be found anywhere you dare look. It's my goal in life to make others see as much beauty as I do, and to make them smile. I love pleasing people: it's a fault.

I constantly contradict myself. Remember how I said I find beauty everywhere? Well, I'm also a perfectionist.
Figure that one out for yourself.

I can be a bit of a sarcastic B----... but I really, really try not to be.

I'm a tad geeky when it comes to film, comics and gaming.
I dye my hair like no tomorrow.
I'm a steampunker (and I love me my conventions).
I'm a writer. I spend most of my time reading and writing. It keeps me at peace.
Socks are my favorite accessory, and I feel naked without my heavy eyeliner.
I want to travel the world one day: just me, my camera, and somebody who loves me.
...That about sums me up.

As you may have noticed, I'm honestly nothing special (although I decided a long time ago that to try to be somebody else is a waste of the person I already happen to be). However, I promise to make it up to you if you're willing to waste your time with me.

It seems like the world is coming to an end just as soon as the cigarette between my fingers will reach its own. Only I can have another cigarette; I can't have another life. I can watch these embers die like nothing is happening, but I don't want to watch myself die quite so nonchalantly... and I suppose this is where my "life" begins.

I'm just looking to be happy, with somebody who loves me for me... and doesn't just "put up" with my quirks. Is that too much to ask for?
