Greetings fellow Texans. I'm a recent transplant moved here to be closer to family, and figured the proximity to Austin would bleed blue this direction. (This is up for discussion.)

Retired in 2023 and I've been traveling, downsizing and trying to squeeze every drop out of this life! I'm an avid reader (historical fiction, ------ mysteries, whodunit) and I'm looking for new adventures.

I'm not a gym rat, don't play pickleball, and I frankly wilt in the heat. I'm more of a "meet you at the theatre" type of person. I'm more interested in learning about you as a person and less about your dog, boat, car, or fish. No smokers, please. 420 tolerant in social settings. My younger friends describe me as an "old hippie" due to my beliefs, but not due to my appearance.

Hope you'll consider the intellectual gauntlet thrown, and pick it up for me!
