Born in Austin in the 70’s. My folks took me and my sis to early Doug Sahm shows at the Rome Inn, and grew up in the live music hippy culture. Dad took me to see Donavon at Liberty Lunch when I was 12. Went to many punk shows there as a teen, and later went to shows every weekend in Austin as 20 something. I started college at ACC studying commercial art. I ended up hitchhiking across the country instead of finishing. It was a lot of fun though, and can’t regret it. I spent my youth skateboarding, and fishing and stuff. I ended up apprenticing in custom cabinetry, and finish carpentry work. I’ve had a fascinating career doing so, and have been mentioned in architectural magazines for my work in historic restoration. I’m divorced with two children who live with me part time. One headed to college next year, and the other to high school. Respect in Elders is very important to me, as well as just trying respect every one that is respectable,
