Hopalong, 51

Since my knee disarticulation its been hard getting my foot in the door. I fear putting my foot in my mouth, seeing I`d fall over. I keep losing at blackjack, I can only count to 16 now. I asked the doctor the day of the amputation... "if I were to lose both legs could I choose how tall I was?". I wrote on the bad leg a dotted line saying "cut here, this leg only!", on the good leg "If cutting here, see my lawyers first!". My feet hurt half as much. I was with a friends kids and was doing the "this little piggy" routine and her brother looked at my leg and asked if my piggies went wee wee wee all the way home. I use to be able to stand and draw with my toes. I wanted to be a pro. fighter but no one would risk getting beat by a one legged man. I see a new meaning to hop to it. I tried to swim but just went in circles. I refuse to accept de-feat but maintain a great footing in life. I know my footprints are unique. Oh yeah, the ?, I am here.
