Tree Hugger/Outdoorsman/Geek Born in California; raised in Washington State. Currently dedicating a year toward community service through the Washington State Conservation Corp, with the ambition of starting my career as a Washington or Oregon State Park Ranger next year.

I'm all sorts of "types" wrapped up in one package: I'm as much of a tech geek as I am a fitness buff; as much a redneck as I am a bookworm. I value time outdoors for the simple sake of being outdoors, and enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, beach walking, or trail bicycling. I also enjoy video gaming, reading just about anything, going to the movies when there's actually something worth seeing, or just having a fun night out on the town.

I have a goofy/dry sense of humor; the only things I really try to take seriously in life are, well, things that need to be taken seriously, and my relationships. It's such a short existence on this blue marble; why anchor yourself down with not finding humor in every aspect of life?

I'd really appreciate it if my future partner could genuinely value me for what I am and fairly expect the same in return. I'm the type that believes that both partners should contribute to the relationship equally. If you're someone who enjoys new experiences, doing random things, or just plain vegging at home for an evening, you get a gold star sticker in my book!
