be who you really are & go the whole way To awaken to this life and to find that going out is really going in.

I'm a very down to earth, adventurous explorer of inner and outer worlds. I find peace and healing renewal in the natural world and like to balance my professional life with time in the mountains, woods, river valleys, and beaches of Washington. By profession I work in the mental health field wherein I am able to incorporate an early background in the visual arts into some of my therapy practice. This has helped me to find my way back into my own capacity for self-expression while putting me in awe of the resilience of the human spirit and of human creativity and actualization. I value fun, humor, laughter, compassion, honesty, and growth. I enjoy nourishment in all its forms and like being in the kitchen, preparing real food with a diverse range of music playing. I'm very drawn to the arts--viewing, listening, and participating; poetry--I lean toward the older Asian spirit/nature forms; gardening; I'm comfortable with a healthy mix of talk and quietude, cuddling, romance, and intimacy; eye-contact and handholding; ecstatic dance. Above all, healthy differentiation: I'm open and like to be exposed to things which I haven't previously explored; to experience how two people can really complement one another while sharing deeply.
Hiking and camping/backpacking are true passions--tasting wild berries, watching the salmon run, glimpsing owl, elk, bear and other denizens of the wild side. I also love well made films of various genre; browsing in libraries and bookstores and finding unexpected delights--those serendipidous moments which add so many varied textures to life. My goal is to be present, to share, communicate, to be aware, compassionate, balanced and joyful.
