Where do all the nerdy girls hide? I work a blue collar job with the intention to go back to college in the spring. I am/was an Army Reservist. I spent a year in Iraq. I'm a closet nerd, it helps overcome a good portion of social hurdles. I smoke (a non-negotiable), drink semi-regularly, anywhere from once a month to twice a week. I play mostly console games, of almost all genres. Racing, shooting, fighting, roleplaying, some strategy stuff. Videogames are my hobby, my escape from my 9-5 days. I dig graphic novels, campy and or pulpy movies. I have a solid clique of friends but I'm coming to find out that meeting women after crossing into adulthood is a crapshoot. I'm not into trolling bars for women, and typically the women there aren't what I'm looking for. So where do nerdy girls hide? Hobbies can bring people together but unfortunately videogames tend to cater to solitude unless we're talking MMO's and then we're talking long distance relationships, moving to different states, yadda yadda, not cool. As far as what I'm looking for... not entirely sure. I'm used to keeping my hobby semi-secret from new people and really all I want is to meet people with similar interests as myself, stuff to talk about, things to relate to. I'm down to talk to anyone, and if I run into someone I'm into then awesome. Drop me a line.
