Hi there. Let me get this out first. I have recently gone through a divorce and have no desire for anything serious at this time in terms of a relationship. I do like going out to the club once in a while, but really prefer nice quiet lunch meetings or small gathering at home. Love to hang out with small groups of friends, watching a football game and cheering on my team (GEAUX TIGERS!).

A good first DATE, if you are trying to make an impression, has to be something very personal to you. Myself, I usually like to arrange a full day of activities in an effort to get to know the person. This not only gives me more time to get to know the likes / dislikes of the person I am with, but gives them time to get to know me more fully and develop an informed opinion about each other. It also gives enough time for one or the other to cut things short between activities if need be. Sometimes a nice picnic in the park to start, gradually move into a walk through downtown or view local sites. Into the evening, hang out at a dance club or small club where we can talk and have some fun either dancing or shoot pool or something while we talk. Afterwards, if each are so inclined, a nice moonlit walk with a cool breeze would be a great way to wind down before I take her home. Where things progress from there all depends on how things go before...
