Intelligent woman looking for caring man I love reading books (mostly Fantasy/SciFi and historical) and have the same tastes in TV shows and movies. I'm an intense thinker and love to have stimulating conversations about just about anything. I enjoy gardening, crafting, beading native style jewelry, designing houses that use alternative energy sources and edible landscaping, exploring nature and Native American Spirituality. I prefer to listen to classic rock, classical, R & B, Celtic music, native music, some hip-hop, salsa, steel drums/island music. I would like to find someone who enjoys the outdoors, who would like to explore the local wilderness by hiking, camping, canoeing, bicycling, etc.
I am extremely honest, loyal, affectionate, and devoted to my mate and expect the same in return. I feel it's very necessary for a mate to be a friend first, and then friendship develops into love and passion. I'm a very self-sufficent woman who isn't clingy and wants her mate to have independent friendships and expects to be able to have my own independent friendships as well. I want to spend time with and share my life with my mate, but don't want to be "connected at the hip."
I was raised in poverty, no running water, electricity, TV, etc., and am the first person in my family to graduate from High School, much less get a degree from college. I enjoy the money I have worked hard to earn, but still keep up with the skills I learned in childhood from my mother and grandmother.
