I am not from Alaska. I have never been to Alaska. I want to move to Alaska. I have always lived in the mid west. Below zero temps are nothing new to me, but neither are 100 degree temps. I wish to live somewhere with more reliable weather. As far as the cold, I can always put on more clothes but I can only take so many clothes off. Alaska's rainforest has intrigued me since I first learned of it and is one of the reasons I got a horticulture degree. I want to live as at the grid as possible and am interested in foraging and living off the land, in a way unavailable where I live.

My story is long but I will give you the high lights. Married and divorced twice. Three children, two live with me, all are over 18. My son has 2 cats my daughter has 1 dog. I am a dog person but love the cats as we raised them from underweight foundlings. I have 2 college degrees and work in neither area. I have some health issues but have Conneaut all but 1 of them. I hope to have it under control within the next year.

I tend to be submissive -------- but hate to be dismissed in any way. I like purple for their actions, not their looks, bank account, or connections. I have a helper personally and am crafty. I like to make things out of repurposing other things. I don't like to waste anything.

I think in a former life I lived on the frontier. I am drawn to the outdoors, having my feet or hands in still makes me happy, in not afraid of hard work, I don't like living in a city. I can live without tv, but I think no music would ruin me. I am creative and curious but also cautious and logical.
