Looking to share my life. The woman I wish to find would be similar to me in her love for life, interest in conservative issues, a passion for gardening and a love for the finer things that life offers.

I have travelled big parts of the world but am very happy in my own gardens and being a homebody.

I read a lot on the laptop about a lot of different things and read a variety of magazines and books.

Ten plus years of college in a few different fields has graced me with an a life that has been interesting and diverse. I started in agriculture school, then was in the Navy as a Corpsman during Viet Nam where I learned the basics of healthcare. At UCLA I was premed but decided against being an MD which was a good decision. I challenged the
and passed the first time. Later I attended Chef School at the Santa Barbara City College, graduated #1 in the class and cooked in a French Provincial restaurant until the low pay forced me back, happily I might add, into nursing. I have never stopped learning about the world.

A great passion is gardening. Over the course of my life I've set up a few gardens. Every one of them stopped traffic and passersby took photos. I create show gardens. I love the huge punch of annuals and the intensity of color they create. My favorite gardens are Butchardt and Minter up in BC, Canada. I didn't know that I was doing show gardens all those years until I finally visited those remarkable places. I also love botanical gardens and their flowers and the greenery as well. There's plenty of room for every style of gardening in my life and gardens.

Now that I'm in Miami where I can have intense flower gardens all the year around I plan to buy a home soon and start my next garden.

What would be wonderful is to have, for the first time, a knowledgable and passionate woman to garden beside me. I've never had that before and I think it would be wonderful.
