Great Minds Think Alike I am a graduate student in public affairs, but my real passion is sociology / social theory. I am considering doing a PhD in the future. In the meantime, I also like tennis, walking, pub trivia, movies, museums, concerts, etc. I know nothing about opera but enjoyed my first trip to the Minnesota Opera. Mostly I'm a rock and roll sort of guy though. One of the newer bands I like is the Shout Out Louds, and I'm a diehard U2 fan.

A year ago I founded a Twin Cities-wide alumni association of a certain kind, and one of my primary leisure activities is overseeing this association and essentially building it from the ground up, with the help of my fellow Board members. I've met some really cool people doing it. It's really satisfying to see other people believing in what you've started and helping to make it happen.

I am looking for someone who is interested in literature, science, maybe even social science. Anything, but you have to have a life of the mind. I hope we would share some other leisure interests too.

My sense of humor is dry to most and goofy/silly to a select few. I'm a big fan of Monty Python.
