I am the proud mother of 3 spectacular adult children, and also have a daughter-in-law and soon to be son-in law, all of whom I adore spending time with. As much as I love to be around my kids at times, I have my own live and they have their own. They are very supportive of me though as I make my new life after leaving my marriage of 33 years.
I'm a speech/language pathologist with a Masters degree. I love my work but am looking forward to retiring soon.
I'd love to find a man who not only shares similar political views but would enjoy going to political events/activities with me sometimes. I would hope that this person would add to my life, as I hope I would to his. We don't need to be attached at the hip, but would both really savor the time we get to be together.
Trying new restaurants or visiting old favorites; watching a beautiful sunset at the beach; going camping in the mountains (well at least staying in a cabin, although I enjoy camping as well); traveling to new places, going on cruises; going to the pool to get some exercise; and exploring nature at places around me are all activities I enjoy. I also wouldn't mind being supportive of activities of my partner. Throwing together a meal for a special someone from just what I have in my pantry is something I'd find fun in or being there as he shows off his culinary skills in the kitchen or on the grill. I CANNOT grill at all!!! LOL
I'm good going out places, but I'm happiest at home, maybe cuddling on the couch watching a movie, in front of a fire place, just talking, or maybe each of us reading a new book. Are you that person I'm dreaming of?
