LOVE WITHOUT REGRET
I doubt the gift of life
when it's lived without you by my side
but I have no regrets
about having let you in to my heart...
I still talk to you in my head
laugh and cry, all by myself
find that there's too much space in my bed
when I reach out to caress your face...
...and you're not there.

I am sorry...but also glad...because sometimes...it is the only path to healing...
I am also sorry that I cannot post it all...on account of publishing conundrums...but mayhaps if one day not too long from now they are published...then by all means...
Be well...and thank you for being so...open-hearted about your feelings...it takes courage...which says a lot about you.

Courage is actually something in short supply for me at the moment, but being open doesn't take courage, just the realization that reality "is what it is" and trying to make it something different doesn't help.
Hope you get this one and your others published sometime soon. I, for one, would like to see the entire works. Keep the faith.
