I took my girl friend out to a movie (Harry Potter). It was for our second anniversary. We held hands and snuggled as we watched the movie, and sometimes didn't pay attention to it.

Afterwards we went out to the Olive Garden and enjoyed dinner. Once we had ate I told her I had a surprise for her. She was excited and we drove out of town. I took her to my home that she had never been to before.

Going up a driveway with trees on both sides and a creek on the right, going up hill she couldn't see the house. At the top of the hill, the trees leave our flanks and open up into a 44 acre field dotted with wild flowers and dandelions. There in the middle of the field was my house.

We rounded around to the house and we sat in my truck as we exchanged our gifts. I told her I had one more thing to give her, but she had to come with me. I blindfolded her and led her by her hand into my house, and out to the back porch. She sat down and I told her just to listen to the sounds she hears.

As she sat there, she heard the birds chirpping and the wind blowing through the trees. I started to play a soft melody that rose and fell in beautiful harmoney. The sweet soft sound of my saxophone made her smile and take off the blindfold. She sat there, listening to my soft music, looking out off the porch at the trees, flowers, and grass. Afterwards she thanked me for the beautiful song and asked me was the song for her.

I told her that it took me all of two months to perfect and write. I made the song for her to show my love. She loved it so much, I gave her a copy of the sheet music and ---- it in her room to remind her of that wonderfull day.

After spending the next fifteen minutes on the porch, kissing and watching nature, we decided it was time I took her home.

This was my first attempt at being romantic for her. What do you thing?
