How to add empty lines in profile

I'm trying to put empty lines in between paragraphs in my profile to make it less of a huge wall of text. The end result seems ti ignore them. What can I do?

Thanks for your question regarding profile descriptions. The description field used to accept some basic HTML options including line breaks, but those features are temporarily disabled. We will look are re-enabling them in the near future. Sorry for the inconvenience.

UPDATE: Line breaks work now. Instead of worrying about entering actual HTML code, just type the text with the line breaks (or double line breaks) you would like...and our system will now display what you type.

Everything you see here was typed just like you see it, so now comments and responses should be much easier to read...instead of being huge blocks of text.
