There is something wrong with a world in which people use sarcasm as a bludgeoning tool. Why can't any of us sincerely and unashamedly express our emotions these days? Have we all gone through so much hurt that our natural reactions to life are represented in our inability to open up to others in a vulnerable way? I can't count the number of times that I've struggled with relationships over the years. I've had to deal with many misunderstandings, miscommunications and some confusion. Yet for all of that I still am optimistic about most of the world and it's inhabitants. Perhaps I am naive. No doubt I haven't seen all of humanity at it's worst points of interaction. Yet that would not change my convictions. I am 33 years old. I am looking to meet someone who gives of themselves with an ease that isn't guarded or doubtful. I have many issues which are the cornerstones of my belief system about life. I am very passionate about equal rights for all people. I am very open minded in most areas of existence. I am a good conversationalist who is always itching to play the game of verbal thrust and parry. I can play and sing with a guitar or a piano. I am rather individualistic in nature and have been told by friends that I am unorthodox in many ways. I am a voracious reader who is just as inclined to read non fiction works a long side certain fantasy authors. I love cats and dogs though I don't currently have any of my own. If you can handle the fact that I am short and also totally blind from birth, I hope you will get back to me. I look forward to meeting that special person.
