My girlfriend and I are both bisexual. We have talked of meeting other couples into the same. Here is the thing, however. Most people seem to just be looking for that all elusive threesome, which I have found will destroy a relationship faster than anything else, especially if one partner is pushing for it more than the other.

What are you guys thoughts on this?

I read the first part of a book about threesomes and relationships. It clearly stated what you said, that threesomes nearly always break up a couple and should only be practiced if the relationship is just temporary anyway. Finding another couple that feels the same way you do would probably be best.
