Such a beautiful mask, it's smile and happy countenance reveal nothing of what's inside. To all but the closest of friends, he appears to be at peace with himself, jovial, even joyous. Yet there is something oddly artificial about the mask he almost never removes. While wandering through life's crowds, he is absolutely alone behind this mask he wears by his own choice. Once, long ago, the face and the mask were one, smiling and happy, not a care in the world. Slowly, one by one, people and events... No comments

I'm not sure who wrote this but I enjoyed it and thought it was significant to my life right now. People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend... One comment

You'd think that in a high-stakes, highly-competitve, high-tech industry, if there was a saying on failure it would be "don't." And yet, in all the years I've spent leading up to and entering gaming tech, it has been quite the opposite. There are quite a few attitudes from academics and work that I can't help but bring with me to dating, so while they're on my mind, I figure I should be out with them and see if anyone bites.
